One Community Fund (formerly SLO County UndocuSupport Fund)
One Community Fund supports nonprofit organizations serving immigrant, undocumented, and mixed-status families through grantmaking, convening, and community partnership. The Fund helps strengthen access to resources, trusted support systems, and opportunities for immigrant communities across San Luis Obispo County.
Guided by a volunteer advisory committee with lived experience and deep community connection, the Fund helps ensure community voices remain central to funding priorities, partnerships, and evolving needs.
Formerly known as SLO County UndocuSupport, One Community Fund continues and expands this community-driven work to strengthen support, connection, and opportunity for immigrant families throughout the region.

HOW THE FUND CREATES IMPACT
Grantmaking: Provide flexible funding to nonprofit organizations serving immigrant and Indigenous families throughout San Luis Obispo County.
Convening: Bring together nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and partners to strengthen collaboration, shared learning, and coordinated support.
Engaging Community Voice: Ensure community voices and local partners help shape funding priorities and help ensure the work remains responsive to evolving community needs.
Connecting: Serve as a bridge to knowledge and opportunities for organizations and individuals that are making a difference for SLO County immigrant populations.
GRANT ANNOUNCEMENT
The One Community Fund recently awarded $200,000 to 10 immigrant-serving nonprofits through its 2026 Spring Grants Cycle. These competitive grants provide flexible, general operating support, helping local organizations respond to emerging needs, strengthen their work, and continue serving immigrant communities throughout San Luis Obispo County. We are proud to offer this ongoing grant opportunity as part of our commitment to fueling a vibrant immigrant future.

COMMUNITY GUIDANCE
The One Community Fund is guided by community voices, local partnerships, and community-informed research that help shape funding priorities and strengthen responsive support strategies for immigrant communities throughout San Luis Obispo County.
A Community Advisory Committee made up of local leaders, advocates, nonprofit partners, and individuals with lived experience helps inform the Fund’s priorities, community partnerships, and grantmaking approach. The committee provides insight into emerging needs and opportunities across the county to help ensure the work remains grounded in community perspective and experience.
The Fund also supports community-informed research and data that help strengthen understanding of the experiences, needs, and contributions of immigrant communities throughout San Luis Obispo County. Resources such as The Fabric of SLO County: Understanding the Diversity and Contributions of Our Immigrant Community report help inform funding priorities, partnerships, and more responsive community support strategies. Funding for the report was provided by The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County, the SLO County Board of Supervisors, the Diversity Coalition of San Luis Obispo County, First 5 San Luis Obispo County, and MUST! Charities.

Capacity Building: Invest in grassroots and immigrant-serving organizations working closest to the community.
CONNECTING FAMILIES TO RESOURCES & SUPPORT
In addition to grantmaking, One Community Fund helps connect immigrant individuals and families with trusted local resources. The Fund supports the development and distribution of the Immigrant Services Guide, a community resource designed to help individuals and families navigate available services and support throughout San Luis Obispo County.
