Richard K. Sauret Viticulture and Enology Scholarship The scholarship was established for students studying viticulture or enology at a four-year college or university. Scholarship and Mentor Scholarship (SAM) The scholarship provides financial support for current or former foster youth who are participating in the Family Care Network’s Independent Living Program. Vineyard and Farm Worker’s Scholarship The scholarship was established by Brian and Johnine Talley and supports higher education for the children of vineyard and farm workers. Preference is for the children of parents who a field workers tending the vines and crops. Richard J. Weyhrich Leadership Award The scholarship was created in memory of the leadership and generosity of Richard John Weyhrich. Qualifying students have demonstrated leadership potential in service to their school and community. The scholarship committee would like to award at least one scholarship at each comprehensive high school, and one to a continuation high school in SLO County.
