SLO County Feed the Hungry Endowment Fund

This fund was established by the SLO County Board of Supervisors from monies received in a settlement concerning overcharging customers at the Albertson’s food store chain. The fund will be used to support the programs of the Food Bank or other food distribution nonprofits

The Mortgage House Fund

This Fund supports residents of SLO County and Northern Santa Barbara County with affordable housing opportunities and/or educational support. Areas of affordable housing opportunities may include; Workforce housing; Upgrading existing housing to green building standards code; Housing for youth in the social services system and/or within local nonprofit’s programs for youth between the ages of 16-22; Housing for youth while attending Cuesta College or a local vocational school; Disabled individuals and their families.

Women’s Legacy Endowment Fund

This fund was established as a permanent endowment to support programs and projects of local organizations that address the issues and needs of women and girls. For more information about the Women’s Legacy Fund, click here.

Preventive Health Care Endowment Fund

This fund supports programs that promote the health and well-being of the community, encourages behaviors that focus on preventing disease, and enables county residents to reach and maintain optimal health stability and independence.
