Grant Award Announcement
Mon, Dec 11th
The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County continually surveys community needs and opportunities, and uses this information to help guide our donors in their grantmaking.
Grant Awards in the following areas will be announced mid-December.
The focus of the Klaproad Basic Needs grant program is to provide for the immediate needs of the homeless in the Five Cities/South SLO County area. The goal is to expand and strengthen the existing services for the homeless in the Five Cities area and to support a continuum of services for South County homeless in hopes of stabilizing and moving the homeless population into permanent housing.
The Opportunity to Thrive grant program supports organizations utilizing a family advocate or case manager to develop and track a client’s self-sufficiency plan. The fund supports organizations that have demonstrated the ability to administer and monitor a hardship assistance fund. Ultimately, Opportunity to Thrive endeavors to support one-time assistance that will make a significant difference in removing a barrier or hurdle to self-sufficiency.
BUILD (Building Unity, Infrastructure, Leadership, Development) Small Grants Program: Infrastructure and strengthening grants for up to $2,500 will be available only to organizations with an annual operating budget below $300,000.
