Women of Distinction Ceremony – The Women of Distinction Awards celebrate Women’s History Month and recognize the contribution that women have made in the areas of volunteering in the community, their profession and in philanthropy.
Richard J Weyhrich Leadership Awards Ceremony – Scholarship award recipients receive their awards during a ceremony held at a SLO County Board of Supervisors meeting.
Paul Wolff Accessibility Advocacy Awards – Established in honor of local architect Paul Wolff, this annual award recognizes and honors those who strive to make San Luis Obispo County a barrier-free community.
Women’s Legacy Luncheon – The Women’s Legacy Fund hosts an annual luncheon for the community that has quickly become a must- attend event. The luncheon is an acknowledgement to the generous donors and also a celebration of support for local nonprofits. Annual grant recipients are announced during the luncheon, and impact stories from past grantees are shared.
Isabel P. Ruiz Humanitarian Award – Recognizes a local individual for outstanding efforts in advocacy and caring for local people in San Luis Obispo County.
Professional Advisors Luncheon – A networking and educational opportunity for Advisors to help integrate topics of various charitable giving opportunities into their work to benefit their clients and our San Luis Obispo County communities.
College Night - A collaborative event with Cuesta College to co-host an opportunity for high school students from across San Luis Obispo County to learn about colleges from across the country, and to find resources they need to help make an informed decision about college.
